- Review the two styles of transformers, what their specifications are, and how to determine the proper transformer for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Understand the reason for adding contingency in secondary power calculations and the amount specified in NFPA
- Review how to calculate the amount of primary and secondary power needed to power an alarm system panel
