As the availability of IP-enabled physical security devices expands to in not just CCTV cameras but also intercoms, alarm transmitters, and fire alarm systems it is becoming important that technicians understand how Internet connections are provided, the differences between various ISP offerings, and how to test Internet services for functionality. This course will help prepare alarm technicians to successfully provide Internet-based communication paths for the wide variety of systems and services that can be transmitted over the Internet.
