Powering a Surveillance System

This one-hour course Powering a Surveillance System will provide insight on how to power a surveillance system properly. We will discuss the proper voltage needed and how to test for electrical efficiency. In addition, we will provide data on the basics of power consumption, Ohm’s Law, conduits, and calculating current and resistance. Students will also learn how a site survey will determine logistics in supplying the necessary power needed to each camera. Accompanying the numerous lessons are a brief quiz and final exam.
