Common Network Problems and Solutions (IP Series Part 7)

This one-hour course Common Network Problems and Solutions (IP Series Part 7) focuses on IP networking testing tools and presents a student exercise which contains step by step instructions on how to program and connect a typical IP surveillance security video camera to a LAN. Students are also instructed on how to achieve remote Internet connectivity with IP devices connected to a local network. Network investigation for the address methods, static and dynamic IP addresses on LANs, and IP camera programming fields are demonstrated and reviewed. Port forwarding and firewall manipulation is detailed, along with methods of obtaining the client’s external Internet IP address and testing the completed installation.

Product Description / Course Objectives

This course pulls together all of the previous segments’  material from the IP networking training series as presented by Elite CEU and takes the student through the actual methods used to investigate, program and install IP cameras and other physical security devices onto local networks and the Internet.  Students will learn exactly how real-life installations of IP devices are performed, along with lessons on the uses of common network testing tools and programs.
