This course Automotive Key Generation – GM Series Part 1 is part 1 of 8 total hours in Elite CEU's Automotive Key Generation series. This one hour video course will focus on a general overview of specific tools needed to work on General Motors cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs. A brief history of GM keyways from 1933 to the present day will be discussed, as well as the security systems used from the 1930s to 2009. Specific mechanical and electronic equipment used to work on GM vehicles. Proximity devices will also be discussed.
