Z–Wave Wireless Implementation

Z-Wave Wireless Implementation is a unique course created in conjunction with the Z-Wave Alliance to help learners understand and implement the leading technology in home wireless systems. This course builds on a basic knowledge of Z-Wave technology by going into details of interoperability, types of Z-Wave messages, building materials & signal attenuation, and other installer-specific issues surrounding the design, planning, and installation of a Z-Wave network in a home. Course includes many useful tips for the installer.

In this course, the audio has been enriched with the innovative integration of Cymatrax technology, providing an enhanced auditory experience for learners.

Product Description / Course Objectives

By the end of this course, learners will:

  • have the knowledge needed to understand selection of Z-Wave products, and how to plan, design, and properly install the network desired by the homeowner
  • be able to understand and handle installation issues such as configuration settings, associations, weak signals, and noise
  • know what a typical installation looks like and the various steps that are necessary to complete that installation
