At the conclusion of this course, the learner will:

  1. Learn Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements when shipping and transporting hazardous materials.
  2. Understand the use and types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling, refilling, and servicing cylinders and vessels.
  3. Identify the frequency and limits of visual and functional cylinder inspections.
  4. Acquire a knowledge of the codes, regulations and requirements of hydrostatic testing.
